Do I have to be at home when you pickup or deliver my clothes?

No, not at all, in fact, most of our residential customers are not home. By supplying our customers with personalized complimentary bags and the convenience of monthly billing our customers now enjoy the benefit of free pickup and delivery service without being physically present at home.

Can I access my wardrobe online?

Absolutely we use cutting edge technology, not only can you access your wardrobe but also see real time information about your garments cleaning status and chat with our dedicated team members via text message instantly.

Do I have to be at home when you pickup or deliver my clothes?

How often do you pickup?

Below are the variety of options for pickup and delivery depending on your cleaning needs.

What time do you pickup and deliver?

Our drivers are on the route from 8 AM to 3 PM. We request our customers to keep their bags ready by 8 am and we will have your clothes delivered by 6 pm the next scheduled delivery day. At Oaks Fine Cleaners, you get a text message reminder the day before your scheduled pickup and delivery day.

How do I pay for the pickup and delivery service?

We will set you up with a 30-day billing cycle with your credit card on file, which will be charged at the beginning of the month. There will be a detailed itemized receipt attached to each order that is delivered to you. We can send you an invoice if you provide us with your email address.

How do you keep my credit card safe?

Once your credit card information is entered into our system it gets encrypted and cannot be accessed by anyone.

What if I have some household items that do not fit in the bags provided?

You can simply use any type of plastic bag. Just leave it out in your designated area with your name and phone number and we will handle the rest.

How do I tell you about a special request concerning a garment?

You can simply have a detailed note or written instructions with your order.

Does frequent dry cleaning shorten the life of a garment?

On the contrary, frequent cleaning prolongs the life of a garment. Not only do stains set with age, making the garment unwearable, but ground-in dirt and soil act as an abrasive causing rapid wear of fibers.

Does dry cleaning shrink clothes?

Usually not. The dry-cleaning process is carefully controlled by professional cleaners.

Is it safe to wet clean a garment with 'Dry Clean Only' care instructions?

When determining if a garment can be safely wet cleaned, our professionally trained expert will look at the fiber content, fabric construction, colorfastness, trims, and other components such as interfacings and linings.

When a garment's label says 'Washable,' does this mean it cannot be dry cleaned?

Not necessarily. The Care Label Rule states that only one suitable method of care must be on the label. We strictly follow the care instructions, unless otherwise requested.

Is Oaks Fine Cleaners Environmentally Friendly?

Yes, we are. The hydrocarbon solvent that we use is safe on the garments, the human body, and the environment. In addition to our hydrocarbon solvent, which is not labeled as a probable carcinogen by the EPA, we have numerous active recycling programs in place to minimize waste. We also continually identify and implement programs and equipment designed to reduce utility usage.

They have always done a great job with clothing but we had them clean some draperies and it was a disaster. They had our primary bedroom drapes for two months with little communication on the status and they came back more discolored than before. Plus they shrunk five to six inches- but to be fair we were warned this might happen. Several thousand dollars later for the cleaning which we expected to whiten them and we will need new drapes after all.

These people are miracle workers!!!! And they are the most kind humans too. I had a stain on my wedding dress 1 week before the ceremony, so I brought the dress to them praying they could figure out how to clean it in time. They got the stain out and had it back in my hands in about 7 minutes!!!! I will never use another Houston dry cleaners again and will certainly take my dress back to them for cleaning and preservation after the wedding.

Hands down, Oaks Fine Cleaners is the best. They are pricier than other cleaners and it’s definitely worth it to ensure my clothing remains in great shape and doesn’t have a chemical small. Add to that the folks that work there are so lovely - Coty is super sweet.

I came here based on recommendations, and I’m so glad I did. I had some clothing that needed alterations that I honestly thought were impossible to fix, and that’s when I met Esther.

She did an amazing job, better than I expected. What seemed impossible to me turned out perfect in her hands. Now I completely understand why so many people recommended this place. Her prices are very fair for the quality of work she provides. I’ve been to other cleaners before, and their alterations do not compare.

I truly believe Esther deserves more recognition. It’s also really nice that they have her out front where people can see her working, because it shows the care and skill she puts into every alteration. Overall, it was an awesome experience, and I’m so happy I found her. She will definitely be my go-to from now on.

They did the fabulous job for my LV T shirt! It got brown stain on it. And they dry cleaned it well! It looks like brand new shirt now! Definitely recommend to who have designer brand clothes! Bring your clothes to them. You will get brand new shirt back! It does take alittle bit long time. But it’s worth to wait. No complaints about the price, because they really do the great job !

Great management and service! Accommodated for quick turn around on a lot of clothes. Danny H really was an huge help. Also not sure what starch and other cleaners they use but they get all stains out and no other cleaners makes my shirts as clean/fresh/ironed as them. This is a very professional and customer oriented business, they take great care of your quality clothes. They may not be the cheapest but you get what you pay for in terms of level of service. We have had expensive dresses and shirts taken care of here.
Prompt communication, and any time we have had issues they have been dealt with rapidly and satisfactorily. The manager Danny was fantastic and deserves special mention.

I want to give credit when it’s due. There was an extreme misunderstanding on pricing. Ladies never send your man he won’t get the correct information nor tell you what he took. But back to the matter at hand. Being a first time customer, didn’t understand what went on. I had the pleasure to speak with the GM Danny. When I say he was phenomenal I mean it, this is a true unbiased review. He let me speak, 15 mins actually. Not once did he deny me, over talk me, belittle me or made me feel like I did not matter. His exact words were “What solution would you like to make this right” He left it up to me. Honestly they’re worth every penny, my clothes look and feel new. I have never experienced anything like this before. I will be a repeat customer. Thank you!

I needed 5 panels of heavily stained mohair custom window treatments cleaned due to water damage - the only cleaners in town that were able to clean and restore perfectly were Oaks Cleansers. On top of a perfect service the staff and customer relations were so professional and friendly. At times it felt -concierge service at its finest. I was a patron Coronet Cleaners but after the experience I had with Oak Cleaners there is no other dry cleaning service in Houston that is a close second.

This place is excellent. Had them do the covers and cushions for all the outdoor furniture and they look like new! Been taking things here for 9 months now and the service is always excellent. There are very few places you walk into and instantly feel happy. Buc-ees is one of them. This Oaks Fine Cleaners is another. Their equipment is state of the art and the staff super friendly and knowledgeable. They take wonderful care of the finest fabrics and your favorite shirts will be treated with utmost care. I love going there to drop off and pick up, although they offer home delivery. Check them out, you will not be disappointed!

I’ve been doing business with Oaks since I began waiting tables about 2 months ago and they haven’t disappointed me. They have gotten every stain out of my white shirts and aprons with ease compared to other cleaning places like A1 who have failed me in the past. I had a tragic incident with red sauce on my lavender drapes. I called Clean as a Whistle for assistance and they recommended Oaks Fine Cleaners instead. I did not think the drapes were salvageable but I picked them up today and they are good as new! I’m so pleased with how they turned out and would 100% use Oaks Fine Cleaners again for drapes or just for regular dry cleaning!

I also think it’s worth noting the parking is easy at their store front and the interior of the cleaners is very well done and clean on the inside — something I appreciate!

I’ve used them for years. They are so nice know my name and get my laundry ready as soon as they see me ! Always do a great job!

I have been dealing with oaks cleaners for the last 6 years and in those 6 years they have yet to let me down. They are consistent and reliable and always on time. The staff are professional and competent and, they always greet you with a smile. I’ve been going to this Oaks Cleaners location for over 5 years and the garments that I receive back are always pretty much perfectly cleaned and pressed just the way I want them! I recently got married and moved farther away and tried my husband’s cleaners and I didn’t realize how good I had it with Oaks Cleaners before. I’ve given the cleaners near my home a few more chances but it was really a waste of time, so now I drive 15 minutes just to have my clothes dry cleaned here because they are consistent and I know I will get what I want. This business deserves a 5 star rating. Oaks is a family owned business. The owner and his family give exceptional personal service. During the pandemic I do not have as much dry cleaning so I give myself a treat and have Oaks launder my sheets. It is fabulous. They have gotten stains out of some of favorite clothes that I thought were there forever! I like that they are environmentally sensitive.

I highly recommend Oaks Cleaners. In every capacity they approach perfection–dry cleaning, laundry, spot removal, repairs, pick-up and returns. But they do more than what would be hoped for; they are good citizens in the neighborhood. A large branch fell from my neighbor’s tree onto my driveway. The route man saw me struggling to drag it down the driveway and stopped. He pulled it to the curb for me. I texted the office to commend him and the manager texted back, “We are all in this together.” Oaks Cleaners is part of the neighborhood and offers the best service.
