At Oaks Fine Cleaners, we want to do our part by offering FREE cleaning services to these vital medical staff.
Our COVID 19 Dry Cleaning Process
Garments that we clean are steamed between 248F to 302F which is above the 167F that CDC advises to kills the viruses.
Our staff is trained to maintain a safe distance and to follow all safety guidelines issued by the CDC and WHO when handling dry cleaning.
Our other dry cleaning is separated and not mixed with any of the medical staff’s dry cleaning.

COVID-19 Precautions and FAQ
At Oaks Fine Cleaners, we are taking coronavirus (COVID-19) seriously. We believe in taking care of our clients and work-family. Below we have addressed some questions and concerns you might have regarding how COVID-19 affects us and you.
COVID-19 Information:
- The virus is transmitted from person to person by exposure to large respiratory drops (by sneezing) and by direct contact
- Wash hands frequently or use hand sanitizer
- When sneezing do not cover your mouth and nose with your hand but sneeze into the crook of your arm
- Maintain social distancing which includes a minimum of 6 feet
Cleaning Garments from the General Public
The CDC advises that the dry cleaning process, which includes cleaning and pressing, is effective on most viruses. As is true with other viruses, laundering in hot water 167° F and with proprietary dry cleaning solutions. The CDC states laundering with detergent alone is an effective method. In accordance with the CDC, WHO, DLI and National Cleaners Association, we are implementing the following protocols:
AT THE COUNTER
- Routinely and periodically throughout the day clean all surfaces that come into human contact OR contact with uncleaned clothing/textiles with a disinfectant wipe
- Wipe down and disinfect the counter after each client transaction
- Wear disposable surgical gloves when handling client’s belongings
- Removal and disposal of gloves after each transaction and disinfecting hands with hand soap or hand sanitizer after removing gloves
ON THE ROUTE
- Routinely and periodically throughout the day clean all surfaces that come into human contact OR contact with uncleaned clothing/textiles with a disinfectant wipe
- Wipe down and disinfect the steering wheel after each client transaction
- Wear disposable surgical gloves when handling client’s belongings
- Removal and disposal of gloves after each transaction and disinfecting hands with hand soap or hand sanitizer after removing gloves
- We are still PROVIDING our Free Pick-Up & Delivery service to help ensure “Social Distancing”
IN THE PLANT
- Not using the same baskets for loading and unloading clean and dirty items and disinfecting these baskets after use
- Making sure the cleaning/washing system is properly charged with soap
- Wiping down the door opening rim prior to unloading the cleaned clothes in the machine
- The use of disposable gloves
- Personnel will wear protective clothing if there is a risk of direct contact with biological agents (for example in the event of splashing). Replace and launder protective clothing in the event of contamination
- Washing is done at high temperature, 167° F, for 25 minutes
OUR EMPLOYEES
- We are making sure all our employees are washing their hands on a frequent and regular basis
- Availability of hand sanitizers throughout the plant and counter area
- Employees are instructed to stay home if they’re feeling unwell in any way
FAQ
From Customers
There is little chance of this type of transfer occurring. The virus only lives for a very short period outside the body. Additionally, the cleaning process kills the virus on any and all garments.
We provide dry cleaner bags to our customers for them to bring their clothes in. This will minimize the amount of time spent in the business establishment. We offer curbside services and free pickup and delivery to maintain social distancing.
From Staff
The virus only lives for a very short time outside the body, so there is very little chance that your employees will contract the virus from touching people’s garments. However, disposable gloves are available and please use hand sanitizer as frequently as possible.
There is little risk from handling any type of linen from the general public.

I want to give credit when it’s due. There was an extreme misunderstanding on pricing. Ladies never send your man he won’t get the correct information nor tell you what he took. But back to the matter at hand. Being a first time customer, didn’t understand what went on. I had the pleasure to speak with the GM Danny. When I say he was phenomenal I mean it, this is a true unbiased review. He let me speak, 15 mins actually. Not once did he deny me, over talk me, belittle me or made me feel like I did not matter. I needed 5 panels of heavily stained mohair custom window treatments cleaned due to water damage - the only cleaners in town that were able to clean and restore perfectly were Oaks Cleansers. On top of a perfect service the staff and customer relations were so professional and friendly. At times it felt -concierge service at its finest. There are very few places you walk into and instantly feel happy. Buc-ees is one of them. This Oaks Fine Cleaners is another. Their equipment is state of the art and the staff super friendly and knowledgeable. They take wonderful care of the finest fabrics and your favorite shirts will be treated with utmost care. I love going there to drop off and pick up, although they offer home delivery. Check them out, you will not be disappointed!

If you are looking for alterations, look no further. Fine oaks cleaners have the best customer service and quality of work. I took a piece in for a zipper repair, and it was completed within 24 hrs, and the work was fantastic. Virginia helped me at my visit and was extremely polite and accommodating.

I’ve been doing business with Oaks since I began waiting tables about 2 months ago and they haven’t disappointed me. They have gotten every stain out of my white shirts and aprons with ease compared to other cleaning places like A1 who have failed me in the past. The only downside is paying for high quality service that Oaks brings to the table. 5 stars.
My experience at oaks cleaners was a 10/10. The new location is nice and clean. It’s always easy for me to be in and out in no time. I had a tragic incident with red sauce on my lavender drapes. I called Clean as a Whistle for assistance and they recommended Oaks Fine Cleaners instead. I did not think the drapes were salvageable but I picked them up today and they are good as new! I’m so pleased with how they turned out and would 100% use Oaks Fine Cleaners again for drapes or just for regular dry cleaning!I also think it’s worth noting the parking is easy at their store front and the interior of the cleaners is very well done and clean on the inside — something I appreciate!

I have been dealing with oaks cleaners for the last 6 years and in those 6
years they have yet to let me down. They are consistent and reliable and
always on time. The staff are professional and competent and, they always greet you with a smile. I would recommend them to anyone, from business people that are constantly traveling, to the stay home business owners and mothers.
They clean and repair my expensive couture clothing with a passionate professionalism which is refreshing in this day and age. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
I’ve been going to this Oaks Cleaners location for over 5 years and the
garments that I receive back are always pretty much perfectly cleaned and
pressed just the way I want them! I recently got married and moved farther
away and tried my husband’s cleaners and I didn’t realize how good I had it
with Oaks Cleaners before. I’ve given the cleaners near my home a few
more chances but it was really a waste of time, so now I drive 15 minutes
just to have my clothes dry cleaned here because they are consistent and I
know I will get what I want. Rosha, who is usually there is always a sweet
and lovely lady. She gives excellent service and I even have her cell phone
number because sometimes I’m running late and she stays a few minutes behind so I can come by.
The owners treat every customer like royalty. I use their services several times a week and have never been disappointed with the quality of their service ( and I’m VERY picky! )

This business deserves a 5 star rating. Oaks is a family owned business. The owner and his family give exceptional personal service. During the pandemic I do not have as much dry cleaning so I give myself a treat and have Oaks launder my sheets. It is fabulous. They have gotten stains out of some of favorite clothes that I thought were there forever! I like that they are environmentally sensitive.

I highly recommend Oaks Cleaners. In every capacity they approach perfection–dry cleaning, laundry, spot removal, repairs, pick-up and returns. But they do more than what would be hoped for; they are good citizens in the neighborhood. A large branch fell from my neighbor’s tree onto my driveway. The route man saw me struggling to drag it down the driveway and stopped. He pulled it to the curb for me. I texted the office to commend him and the manager texted back, “We are all in this together.” Oaks Cleaners is part of the neighborhood and offers the best service.
