Apologies in advance for the length.

This is a sad review because Oaks is actually a good dry cleaners in terms of cleaning. They just lack honesty, integrity, morals, ethics and transparency on the business/customer side. They smile and act as nice as can be right up until you have a problem. Then they don’t care about you, your decades-long loyalty and patronage, and most importantly, your fine clothes and bedding.💔 By the way, I encourage you to check out Oaks SCATHING Yelp reviews. They’ve got a three star rating!😳 Other reviews describe similar situations to mine. Also, lots of serious money, rip-off, scam stories. You should take a look.👀 Wish I had sooner

Oaks lost an expensive new set of bedding. The entire dry cleaning bag just disappeared. This isn’t the first time Oaks lost something. They lost a nice blouse a while back but because it was a few years old and I didn’t have a receipt, I didn’t make a big deal of it. I called Sal (route manager) and Danny (GM) but they couldn’t find it and actually blamed my high-rise condo for losing it. About 4-6 months later, they found it and sneakily slipped it into my dry cleaning delivery without saying a word. Guess my building didn’t lose it after all, huh?🙄🤥 Big red flag that sadly, I ignored.🚩

I’ve been in communication with Danny for over 2 months on this bedding fiasco. He kept saying he’s “looking into it.” For two months?? What an absolute joke.

I last spoke with the owner, Rahim a few weeks ago. He promised to call in a few days. Never heard back.🤥 Their lack of answer IS the answer. It doesn’t take 10+ weeks for a yes. They will not file a claim, reimburse me or make it right. My problem, not theirs.

My building has never lost a single package or dry cleaning delivery and I’ve been here for decades. Oaks consistently plays the blame-game. It’s always someone else’s fault. It’s a slimy yet convenient way to avoid taking financial responsibility and personal accountability. They accept zero liability juxtaposed to competing cleaners like Twin Oaks, who quickly reimburses when they damage or lose items. I’ve never seen this from a dry cleaner besides a Seinfeld episode. It’s absurdly hilarious on TV. In real life, not so much. I just filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau. Hopefully I’ll get resolution there.

I told Danny and Rahim if this resolution did not go in my favor, I couldn’t possibly return to Oaks. Danny absolutely assured me it would!🤥 Knowing I have no recourse when my things go missing, it’s a wrap. Obviously, there is zero trust and credibility now. Rahim forever destroyed that. Danny and Rahim have both lied so many times. Back to Twin Oaks. I never should have left.

They did the fabulous job for my LV T shirt! It got brown stain on it. And they dry cleaned it well! It looks like brand new shirt now! Definitely recommend to who have designer brand clothes! Bring your clothes to them. You will get brand new shirt back! It does take alittle bit long time. But it’s worth to wait. No complaints about the price, because they really do the great job !

Oaks Fine Cleaners are the only people I trust with my clothing. After trying several other dry cleaners who ruined several of my very expensive pieces, I finally found Oaks and won’t go anywhere else. Their dry cleaning is done on site, so you never have to worry about third-party companies mishandling your clothes. On top of that, their free pick-up and delivery service makes things so convenient, and Sal, the delivery guy, is fantastic—always on time, professional, and communicative. Truly top-notch service!

Great management and service! Accommodated for quick turn around on a lot of clothes. Danny H really was an huge help. Also not sure what starch and other cleaners they use but they get all stains out and no other cleaners makes my shirts as clean/fresh/ironed as them. Lived in Houston my whole life and used plenty of cleaners in my day but this one is the best! Highly recommend

This is a very professional and customer oriented business, they take great care of your quality clothes. They may not be the cheapest but you get what you pay for in terms of level of service. We have had expensive dresses and shirts taken care of here.
Prompt communication, and any time we have had issues they have been dealt with rapidly and satisfactorily. The manager Danny was fantastic and deserves special mention.

I want to give credit when it’s due. There was an extreme misunderstanding on pricing. Ladies never send your man he won’t get the correct information nor tell you what he took. But back to the matter at hand. Being a first time customer, didn’t understand what went on. I had the pleasure to speak with the GM Danny. When I say he was phenomenal I mean it, this is a true unbiased review. He let me speak, 15 mins actually. Not once did he deny me, over talk me, belittle me or made me feel like I did not matter. His exact words were “What solution would you like to make this right” He left it up to me. Honestly they’re worth every penny, my clothes look and feel new. I have never experienced anything like this before. I will be a repeat customer. Thank you!

I needed 5 panels of heavily stained mohair custom window treatments cleaned due to water damage - the only cleaners in town that were able to clean and restore perfectly were Oaks Cleansers. On top of a perfect service the staff and customer relations were so professional and friendly. At times it felt -concierge service at its finest. I was a patron Coronet Cleaners but after the experience I had with Oak Cleaners there is no other dry cleaning service in Houston that is a close second.

This place is excellent. Had them do the covers and cushions for all the outdoor furniture and they look like new! Been taking things here for 9 months now and the service is always excellent. There are very few places you walk into and instantly feel happy. Buc-ees is one of them. This Oaks Fine Cleaners is another. Their equipment is state of the art and the staff super friendly and knowledgeable. They take wonderful care of the finest fabrics and your favorite shirts will be treated with utmost care. I love going there to drop off and pick up, although they offer home delivery. Check them out, you will not be disappointed!

If you are looking for alterations, look no further. Fine oaks cleaners have the best customer service and quality of work. I took a piece in for a zipper repair, and it was completed within 24 hrs, and the work was fantastic. Virginia helped me at my visit and was extremely polite and accommodating.

I’ve been doing business with Oaks since I began waiting tables about 2 months ago and they haven’t disappointed me. They have gotten every stain out of my white shirts and aprons with ease compared to other cleaning places like A1 who have failed me in the past. The only downside is paying for high quality service that Oaks brings to the table. 5 stars.

I had a tragic incident with red sauce on my lavender drapes. I called Clean as a Whistle for assistance and they recommended Oaks Fine Cleaners instead. I did not think the drapes were salvageable but I picked them up today and they are good as new! I’m so pleased with how they turned out and would 100% use Oaks Fine Cleaners again for drapes or just for regular dry cleaning!

I also think it’s worth noting the parking is easy at their store front and the interior of the cleaners is very well done and clean on the inside — something I appreciate!

I’ve used them for years. They are so nice know my name and get my laundry ready as soon as they see me ! Always do a great job!

I have been dealing with oaks cleaners for the last 6 years and in those 6 years they have yet to let me down. They are consistent and reliable and always on time. The staff are professional and competent and, they always greet you with a smile. I would recommend them to anyone, from business people that are constantly traveling, to the stay home business owners and mothers.

They clean and repair my expensive couture clothing with a passionate professionalism which is refreshing in this day and age. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I’ve been going to this Oaks Cleaners location for over 5 years and the garments that I receive back are always pretty much perfectly cleaned and pressed just the way I want them! I recently got married and moved farther away and tried my husband’s cleaners and I didn’t realize how good I had it with Oaks Cleaners before. I’ve given the cleaners near my home a few more chances but it was really a waste of time, so now I drive 15 minutes just to have my clothes dry cleaned here because they are consistent and I know I will get what I want. Rosha, who is usually there is always a sweet and lovely lady. She gives excellent service and I even have her cell phone number because sometimes I’m running late and she stays a few minutes behind so I can come by.

The owners treat every customer like royalty. I use their services several times a week and have never been disappointed with the quality of their service ( and I’m VERY picky! )

This business deserves a 5 star rating. Oaks is a family owned business. The owner and his family give exceptional personal service. During the pandemic I do not have as much dry cleaning so I give myself a treat and have Oaks launder my sheets. It is fabulous. They have gotten stains out of some of favorite clothes that I thought were there forever! I like that they are environmentally sensitive.

I highly recommend Oaks Cleaners. In every capacity they approach perfection–dry cleaning, laundry, spot removal, repairs, pick-up and returns. But they do more than what would be hoped for; they are good citizens in the neighborhood. A large branch fell from my neighbor’s tree onto my driveway. The route man saw me struggling to drag it down the driveway and stopped. He pulled it to the curb for me. I texted the office to commend him and the manager texted back, “We are all in this together.” Oaks Cleaners is part of the neighborhood and offers the best service.
